The community garden has been collaboratively created to provide an opportunity for families to learn how to grow affordable, healthy food, learn essential skills and to reinvigorate the community.

This not for profit, community based, volunteer organisation has been looking after their coastal environment for more than 10 years, through rehabilitation and maintenance of coastal ecosystems.

The HRCG strives to represent, collaborate & align natural resource management (NRM) efforts & opportunities within the catchment & region to facilitate & deliver landscape changes & resilience to benefit the environment, industries & wider community.

HCPSL’s core business is to enhance the productivity of the sugar industry.  Its mission is to improve the quantity and quality of sugar cane grown in the Herbert valley, in an environmentally sustainable and economically viable manner.

This PBC manages native title rights and interests on behalf of the Mandingalbay Yidinji and Gunggandji peoples.

Gunggandji People are the recognised Traditional Owners of parts of the Yarrabah Peninsula.

GBRMPA is responsible for ensuring the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park — one of the world’s greatest natural treasures — is protected for the future. We directly manage activities in the Marine Park, implement plans and policies for Reef use and protection, and work with communities and industries that depend on a healthy Reef for recreation and their livelihoods.

The Goondaloo Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC administers land on behalf of the Warrungnu People.
