Queensland state government Department which aims to develop and coordinate science and ICT policy across the Queensland Government; develop a whole-of-government approach on innovation as a key enabler of the knowledge economy; support and invest in research and development to meet the state’s future challenges; build a strong relationship with key innovation and ICT industry stakeholders; improve government service delivery through efficient use of information and communications technology services and shared services; help Queensland businesses and consumers to benefit from current and emerging digital technologies and services; manage the state’s intellectual property policy and assets.

The Djabugay speaking people are traditional Aboriginal people of the Rainforest, the original inhabitants of mountains, gorges, lands and waters of a richly forested part of the Great Dividing Range including the Barron Gorge and surrounding areas within the Wet Tropics of Queensland.

Holloways Beach Coastcare

This not for profit, community based, volunteer organisation has been looking after their coastal environment for more than 10 years, through rehabilitation and maintenance of coastal ecosystems.

The community garden has been collaboratively created to provide an opportunity for families to learn how to grow affordable, healthy food, learn essential skills and to reinvigorate the community.
