The Tropical Froggery was formed to facilitate the promotion of ecotourism, education and scientific research specifically to the conservation of local tropical wetland frogs.
TICMA is committed to revegetation of creeks to restore native vegetation and prevent exotic plants from being planted on creek banks by new residents. Emphasis is on community involvement with many sites now being revegetated and maintained by residents. The group also incorporates Coastal Landcare, Cairns Urban Landcare and Landcare Community Revegetation Unit.

Djunbunji Land and Sea Program provides a sustainable ranger service on Mandingalbay Yidinji country with a team of Aboriginal Rangers and a Land and Sea Coordinator based at Grey Peaks National Park.Straddling the Wet Tropics and Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Areas in Far North Queensland, Mandingalbay Yidinji country lies just east of Cairns across Trinity Inlet and includes a great diversity of environments – marine areas, mangroves, freshwater wetlands, rainforest clad mountains, coastal plains, beaches, reefs and islands.
